The two organizations collaborated to create an exciting schedule featuring horticulture, floral design, and photography categories. Eligible GCA club member entrants who register before the April 3 deadline can choose from five floral design classes and those who register before the March 1 deadline may submit in one of six photography classes, all with themes reflective of the earth’s four elements. Horticulture entries include a wide variety of cuts and kokedama, pot-et-fleur and succulent creations. The event also will include an educational exhibit featuring an edible garden demonstration with guidance on how community food gardens can help address local food insecurity issues.
